Meet Our Staff

The 2023-2024 school year will be Kyle and Nicki’s eighteenth year on staff with The Navigators. They both graduated from FSU in 2004, Kyle having received a finance degree and Nicki a degree in music. Before coming on staff Kyle worked for FSU and Nicki taught piano. This will be their thirteenth year leading the campus at FSU after spending two years at UF working with The Navigators on that campus. Kyle and Nicki met during their undergrad years at FSU and fell in love. They were married in 2008. They have five beautiful children: George, Everette, Emaline, Clairie, and John David. They love serving students and pointing people to Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Danielle is in her fourth year on staff with The Navigators and was heavily involved as a student. She graduated from FSU in May 2021 with her bachelor’s in Marketing. She is excited to continue serving at her alma mater. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, playing soccer, and going to coffee shops. She loves hanging out with students and encouraging them in their walk with Jesus.

Brent Shepherd is serving for his third year on staff with The Navigators. Brent graduated from FSU in 2021 with degrees in Political Science and Geography, and married his wife Grace shortly after. He’s currently in his third year of seminary pursuing a Masters in Divinity and working as a Pastoral Assistant at a local church. Brent and Grace love to read, hike, rock climb, and take their dog Pacha on long walks.

Rodrigo is in his third year on staff with The Navigators and was heavily involved as a student. He graduated from FSU in May 2022 with his Bachelor’s in  Digital Media Production and International Affairs. He is excited to continue serving part-time at his alma mater and working with a film company locally. In his free time he enjoys playing soccer and making homemade pizza. He loves inviting students into his home and life to bring them closer to Jesus.

Hailey is entering her second year on staff with the Navigators. She found the Navigators as a freshman at FSU and has been heavily involved throughout all four years of her undergraduate degree. Hailey graduated in spring of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. She is looking forward to working on the campus she loves. When she’s not on campus meeting with students, Hailey can be found spending time with friends and family, line dancing, or spending time outdoors.

Wiley Allgood is in his second year on staff with the Navigators and was involved for three years as a student. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from FSU in 2023 and is excited to return to campus to serve the Lord. In his spare time, he enjoys board games, reading, and disc golf. He is most excited about spending time meeting student and encouraging students in their relationship with Jesus.

Aidan Durity is entering his first year on staff with the Navigators at Florida State and spent all four years of college as a part of the ministry. He graduated from Florida State in 2024 with a degree in Actuarial Science (insurance math). In his free time, he loves to run, play sports, watch college football, and enjoy the outdoors. As he starts this year as a member of the team, studying and memorizing God’s Word excites him for God’s plan at FSU.
